Job Summary:
The post holder will support various work streams including, but not limited to, patient safety and involvement, complaints, clinical Audit and quality Improvement, clinical effectiveness, information governance and risk management.
Main Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining, recording, updating and reporting on relevant databases
Producing agendas and minute taking for meetings
Handling and formatting of reports containing confidential, highly sensitive information
Dealing with all queries and regular administrative activities in an efficient and courteous manner
Responsible for prioritising workload as required
To assist with providing, reviewing and updating departmental risk registers.
To manage systems and processes that provide assurance to Board in relation to compliance with the requirement of CQC Regulation 17 Good Governance.
To aid all team members in all aspects of CQC registration, inspection methodology, key lines of enquiry and clinical and best practice guidance issues by the CQC.
To assist the Head of Nursing with the preparation, approval and submission of Care Quality Commission provider information requests in a timely manner.
Attendance at key Quality Governance structure meetings as directed by the Governance Lead, Head of Corporate and Business Support Services and Head of Nursing.
Assist with the Quality compliance process to support governance processes, procedures and identifying areas of risk.
Lead with the investigation and completion of all patient complaints, compliments, Subject Access Requests and incidents.
Lead on specific projects associated with the role.
To have an understanding of key patient and staff quality and safety initiatives within Harrow Health and to provide expert advice and support to ensure effective and efficient processes are in place to support governance requirements.
Support compliance with information governance.
In conjunction with all operational managers and the Senior Leadership Team, review internal and external intelligent monitoring data to identify areas of good practice and risk and provide regular reports as required.
Support the Head of Corporate and Business Support and Head of Nursing with the receipt, collation and quality checking of evidence as required for CQC inspection.
Work autonomously; setting own works schedules and detail of how the work will be done
Support the provision of quality assurance reports via the governance structure
Risk Management/Governance - To assist the Head of Corporate and Business Support Services
Ensure that allocated projects are effective, safe, responsive, high quality and well-led, identifying and escalating risks and concerns promptly and effectively to the Head of Corporate and Business Support when necessary
Understand the established complaints and significant events process and ensure they are used appropriately
Ensure activities and services comply with organisational requirements for safety, quality management, confidentiality and data protection, safeguarding, duty of candour, Prevent, general duty of care, regulatory requirements and other legal and professional standards and stipulations.

Previous experience in a similar role in a Healthcare setting is essential
