To meet client demand and support some exciting business opportunities we are expanding our Governance Team who deliver tailored services to ensure that the bespoke support required for each school/academy/trust is provided at a consistent high-quality level.
For Governing Boards to function effectively it is vital that their meetings are efficiently called and clerked, and that action is taken promptly upon all decisions and resolutions. The Governor Services Department makes a valuable contribution to the preparation of Governor meetings and follow-up work and provides advice and guidance on all governance issues.
You will need:
To be well organised, have strong administrative skills, be a good communicator and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience as a Governance Professional is desirable; however, full training and support will be provided.
Our Governance Professionals support approximately 70-75 meetings per year as part of their portfolio, with the option and opportunity for voluntary overtime.
You will need to be able to develop and maintain excellent customer relationships and instil confidence from the start with our highly valued customers through your effective interpersonal and organisational skills.
You will be fully supported by our outstanding Governance team, with a programme of regular training and a supportive team ethos and culture.
A flexible approach to working is required as the role involves some twilight / evening meetings, but rest assured you will work for a flexible employer that puts wellbeing and work life balance at the heart of what we do.
A full, clean driving license and own vehicle are essential.
