We are an outstanding, patient-centred, welcoming & compassionate GP practice and as a Care Navigator/Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive the best possible care. You will be the first point of contact for patients, helping them navigate the healthcare system and ensuring they are directed to the appropriate services. Your role will also involve administrative duties to support the smooth running of the practice. The role requires exceptional customer service skills with a warm, listening, empathetic nature, as well as great organisation and administrative abilities.
This role will be on a 2 week rolling shift pattern as follows:
Greet and assist patients, both in person and over the phone, with a friendly and professional manner.
Provide information and guidance to patients regarding available services and appointments.
Manage appointment bookings and cancellations efficiently.
Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining patient records.
Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care.
Handle patient queries and concerns with empathy and discretion.
Experience
Proven experience in a healthcare administration role or similar position is desirable.
Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail in managing multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills for liaising with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
A solid understanding of public health principles and practices will be beneficial.
Proficiency in using computer systems and software.
