Overview

We are looking for a Practice Nurse Lead experienced in long term conditions, learning disabilities and preferably management to join our nursing team.

The post holder will be responsible for the care and management of delivering nursing services to our patients and day to day management of our team of nurses, HCAs and Phlebotomist.

We will consider a job share with a minimum of 18.5hrs, full or part time hours for the right candidate between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Support the practice in achieving quality indicators and targets for QOF, LES/DES, IIF and GMS services Provide long term condition reviews Audits Infection Control Immunisations Write and review protocols PGD management and review Monitor emails, workflow and tasks Management of rotas and clinics Team return to work interviews, recruitment, appraisals, etc. Flexibility in working overtime and covering sickness Maintain your own professional development

Essential Skills/Qualifications

Overview of organisation

Probus Surgery is a well-established Primary Care business offering NHS services to our local population, with a population of circa 9500 patients. Probus is our main surgery, with branch sites at The Merlin Centre and Tregony. Our clinical team consists of GPs, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Paramedics, Nurses, HCAs, Pharmacists, Dispensers, Care Co-Ordinators, Social Prescribers, Receptionists and Admin.

Location of Work

The applicant will be required to work at Probus, and our branch sites at Tregony Parc and The Merlin Centre.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 24.00-26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18.5 - 37 per week
