Job Description

Interfuse Limited are seeking a hardworking, self-motivated and experienced Grab Truck Driver to join the team at their Syston plant.

Established in 1965, Interfuse Ltd pride themselves on their quality in the manufacturing of their precast masonry blocks and their outstanding service to all clients and customers.

Permanent Position. Good hourly rate, overtime, bonus scheme, holiday & contributory pension.

Working hours are Monday to Friday and shifts will be between the hours of 6am-6pm. With additional hours and Saturday mornings as required.

Key roles and responsibilities:

Loading and unloading of block lorries ready for delivery in accordance with yard safety procedure and training. Transferring blocks from production conveyor into relevant stock locations in the yard. Daily checks of grab trucks. Training will be provided on other yard machinery if required such as loading shovel and forklifts giving job flexibility. Loading shovel involves loading and filling aggregate bins with correct material for production from ground feed bin. Ensure supplied material is tipped in correct material bay. Ensure material bays and stock yard are kept in a tidy manner. Assist with plant maintenance/cleaning duties. Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team. Work in accordance with risk assessments, safe systems of work, Health & Safety and Environmental Policy. Carry out additional duties within your skills and experience, where required, to support the needs of the business GDPR compliance at all times
Preferred requirements:

Ideally experienced in driving forklift/ grab trucks or other construction vehicles (desirable) Experience in a manufacturing background (desirable)
Full training and equipment will be provided

Salary: Potential earnings of up to 35,000 per annum. This includes overtime and bonus which would be time and a half after 8 hours per day and double time on weekends.
