Main Tasks & Responsibilities are:-
Operate machinery to produce quality parts to achieve individual output targets within the Press and Grind department
Accountable for the construction of this safety critical element of the brake pad
Accountable for adherence to production output of the KPI critical constraint of the production process
Ensure safe working practices are adhered to and carried out at all times.
All machine and working areas are maintained to the correct housekeeping standards.
Strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
Ensure strict adherence to Quality Policies and Procedures, ensuring optimum Quality Standards.
Flexibility required to adapt to the dynamic nature of business needs to imminent change.
All documentation is completed correctly and accurately in accordance with company procedure.
To setup machines in accordance with Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) and to achieve changeover times.
Ensure Quality Standards by conducting First & Last off checks and subsequent In Process Checks.
Ensure all equipment is of a satisfactory standard and any issues are escalated appropriately.
To support the Senior Group Leader and Working Team Leader in the operation of the department, to actively participate in improvement initiatives and demonstrate proactivity in the prevention of issues in their infancy.
