Grade 3 Logistics Operative (4 On/4 Off, 18:00-06:00) - Forklift Driver

We are looking for a reliable and proactive

Grade 3 Logistics Operative

to join our Night Logistics team. In this hands-on role, you'll operate materials handling equipment (MHE) to move, stack, and count finished goods and materials, supporting smooth operations across the site. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential to meet outload and production deadlines while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate MHE safely and efficiently to move goods within the logistics area, including storage, loading, and unloading. Carry out daily checks on MHE, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain accurate records, including inventory counts and stock movements. Assist with inbound goods - labelling, booking-in, and relocating stock to appropriate storage areas. Pick and decant products for tempering, set up tempering units, and complete all associated paperwork. Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations. Support cleaning, recycling, and GMP standards across the warehouse, including operating cardboard and film balers and refuse compactors.

About You:

Polite, confident, and professional when dealing with colleagues, visitors, and customers. Positive, proactive, and respectful in your approach to work. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to use your initiative. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.

Skills & Experience Required:

Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in stock handling and record-keeping. Previous experience in a logistics or warehouse environment is advantageous. Confident team player, able to follow instructions and work independently where required. Basic understanding of SAP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) desirable (training provided if needed).
