Role Purpose
To collaborate with the Magna Money head office team to assist in the support of Magna Money self-employed brokers, the development and marketing of Magna Money, and the day-to-day operations of the Magna business within Sedulo Group.
Role Objectives
Working with Magna Money self-employed brokers to support them in their day-to-day activities, including case queries, lender information, and billing.
Support in the creation of training documents to build out the onboarding process for new Magna brokers
Produce marketing content, including social media and blog posts
Build relationships with existing key funding partners and potential funders
Communicate effectively with Magna brokers, candidates and lenders
Ensuring knowledge of lenders is updated on a regular basis
Networking at industry events to help raise the profile of Magna Money and to grow your personal network
Support the Broker Liaison team with Magna broker recruitment
Liaise with the brokers and accounts team to track deals and process billing requests
Your knowledge, skills and experience
Confident, proactive, and eager to learn
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organisational skills
Strong communicator both face to face and over the telephone
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
Competent using Microsoft Office
Preferred but not required - prior experience in banking, lending or commercial necessary - full training provided
Qualifications:
Required - A-levels, BTEC, or equivalent in Business, HR, Accounting, Psychology or a related field.
Preferred - Degree or equivalent in Business, HR, Accounting or a related field.
Previous experience in a customer service or sales role desirable but not essential.

Role Overview
As a Broker Liaison Executive, you'll be responsible for two main areas of the business, broker support and business development.
The support part of your role will see you working with a team of over 35 self-employed commercial finance brokers to maintain business infrastructure and support with day-to-day queries. Your role will include recording deal completions, updating internal systems to keep lender information up to date, and to help create, update and refine training and support documents to create a smoother training process for new team members.
The business development portion of your role will involve supporting in the brand development of Magna Money by creating blog posts, updating the website and supporting with the management of the business social media pages. You will also be encouraged to keep your own professional socials up to date as a representative of the business and will be given opportunities to build your professional network through networking and attending business and industry events.
Over time you will also be expected to familiarise yourself with the facilities offered by our lender partners so you can begin to support our broker team with deal queries, to better represent the business when supporting with marketing activities, and to more accurately outline the broker role if supporting in the recruitment of new candidates.
