The role of Graduate Buyer:

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially astute individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. This role is well-suited to someone at the early stages of their career who is driven, ambitious, and possesses a strong commercial mindset. Ideally, the candidate will have a foundational understanding of distribution, purchasing, and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

The role will specifically cover the following areas:

Managing stock levels in conjunction with Internal account managers Placing orders, and day to day dealing with suppliers Processing enquires to exacting customer requirements in conjunction with account managers Supporting the internal team with effective account management

Key Skills and Essential Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following:

A recent graduate with a 2:1 minimum degree within a numeric based degree ie; Maths, Economics, Business, Finance, Accountancy or equivalent Be highly motivated Have excellent communication skills Have a likeability, with the ability to easily create a rapport with others Work within 30 minutes commute of our Portsmouth site
