Graduate Carbon Advisor - 2026 Development Programme - Peterborough

We are looking for a Graduate Carbon Advisor to join our Infrastructure @one Alliance team in Peterborough to support the planning, design and delivery of clean water and wastewater projects across East Anglia.
What you'll do:
Assist the project environmental team with the day-to-day environmental requirements of the project & assist in the delivery of environmental training.
Research and outline the case for sustainable initiatives.
Ensure that project environmental documentation is maintained and up to date.
Represent and promote the Environment Department in meetings, workshops, management reviews and forums.
Support external liaison with regulators i.e. Environment Agency, Local Authorities etc.
What you'll bring to the role:

  • Final-year student or recent graduate with an environmental related degree.
  • A passion for sustainable infrastructure and interest in the water sector.
  • Strong interest in innovation, sustainability, and positive societal impact, demonstrated through collaborative teamwork and proactive problem-solving.
  • Enthusiastic learner dedicated to personal and professional development, with a willingness to work towards professional qualifications or chartered status.
  • This role requires visits to sites across the UK. As such, we would expect you to have a driving licence or work towards obtaining one within your first year of working with us.
