What You'll Be Doing:
As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you'll be an integral part of our Civil Engineering team, working alongside experienced engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality infrastructure and development projects. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of schemes, like our recent project with Hull City Council, providing updates to their roundabouts, designed to increase highway capacity and enhance cycle lane infrastructure, and the Catterick Levelling Up Fund project, where our Civils team led on infrastructure design in close collaboration with other disciplines.
Your day to day work will include:
Support the delivery of infrastructure and development projects.
Assist in designing drainage systems and external works.
Liaise with statutory authorities for approvals (e.g., S38 & S104).
Contribute to technical reports, specifications, and Flood Risk Assessments.
Conduct site visits for inspections, surveys, and meetings.
Carry out health and safety risk assessments in line with CDM regulations
What We're looking For:
A motivated and detail-oriented graduate who is ready to launch their career in civil engineering. You'll bring a strong academic foundation and a collaborative mindset to help us deliver outstanding results.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Some experience in project delivery and working within a team.
Proficiency in design software such as PDS, Civils 3D, AutoCAD, and MicroDrainage/Flow.
Competence in conceptual and detailed design of infrastructure projects (earthworks, roads, drainage).
A working knowledge of UK standards, adoptable standards, and building regulations.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
A commitment to professional development, ideally working towards ICE membership (IEng/CEng).
A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to various project locations.
