Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision components according to specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with various materials. The CNC Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our production processes.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines, including milling and fabrication equipment, to produce high-quality components. Interpret technical drawings and CAD designs using SolidWorks and other software. Set up tooling and fixtures for machining processes, ensuring proper alignment and calibration. Conduct routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. Utilise programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine programming and operation. Perform quality checks on finished products using basic maths to ensure compliance with specifications. Handle materials safely, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse environment. Collaborate with team members in assembly and welding tasks as required.

Experience

Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and machinery. Familiarity with materials handling practices and warehouse operations is advantageous. Experience in assembly processes is beneficial, along with knowledge of welding techniques. Proficiency in CAD software and SolidWorks is preferred, alongside an understanding of fabrication techniques.
