Overall Purpose of The Job



Learn how to manage, maintain, and improve the systems that store and organize our data. You'll work closely with experienced engineers and analysts, gaining hands-on experience with real-world data challenges in a supportive and collaborative environment.



Key Responsibilities and Tasks



Learn how to manage and maintain databases that support our business operations. Help build and improve systems that move and transform data between platforms. Write basic SQL queries to extract and analyse data. Support the team in ensuring data is accurate, secure, and accessible. Assist with monitoring database performance and resolving simple issues. Contribute to documentation and team knowledge sharing.

Essential



A recent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related subject. Basic understanding of databases and how they work. Some experience with SQL (from university, projects, or self-learning). A logical mindset and interest in solving problems with data. Willingness to learn new tools and technologies. Good communication and teamwork skills.



Desirable



Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with Python or another scripting language. Experience with Excel, Power BI, or other data tools. Understanding of data privacy and security basics.
