About the Roles


This structured Graduate Development Scheme is designed to provide early-career professionals with in-depth experience, professional training, and accredited qualifications.

Successful candidates will join one of four specialisms:



1. Graduate Delivery Manager


Work closely with stakeholders to manage scope, risks, and budgets for strategic IT projects. Contribute to initiatives spanning Technology, Education, Research, Administration, and Engagement and Dissemination. Support feature enhancements, implement change control, and assist with financial planning.

2. Graduate Business Analyst


Act as a bridge between end-users and IT teams, translating business needs into technical solutions Analyse business processes, identify areas for improvement, and support system development. Conduct stakeholder engagement, process mapping, and requirements gathering.

3.Graduate Change & Communications Officer


Support stakeholders through IT system changes to ensure smooth adoption and maximum benefit. Facilitate communications, training, and user engagement for successful implementation. Help drive change initiatives across the University's digital estate.

4. Graduate Quality Assurance Analyst


Work on initiatives in partnership with multidisciplinary teams and University stakeholders to elevate software quality and user experience. Develop robust test plans for new software products and modifications, ensuring a high level of software quality throughout the development lifecycle. Develop your skills across technology domains by experiencing projects that are delivering solutions with software, infrastructure, data management, and security.
This is a 24-month fixed-term programme offering graduate-level roles (on-the-job training with role-specific accredited qualifications. A minimum of two days on-site per week is required, with flexible working arrangements.

About You


We are looking for enthusiastic graduates eager to develop their careers. You should have:
A degree (2:1 or above) in a relevant field, or equivalent qualification. Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Good analysis and problem-solving skills. Logical and creative thinking skills. An excellent attention to detail and a thorough and organised approach. A collaborative mindset.
