As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will carry out electrical and electronic design, build, and test activities across UKAEA programmes, working collaboratively with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to ensure all delivered systems are demonstrably safe through rigorous review and analysis. You will also contribute to the design, specification, procurement, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems--including ELV, LV, and HV--across a wide range of UKAEA projects.
Your core responsibilities:
Involvement of HDL and embedded software (C) where appropriate.
Perform fault-finding activities on electronic and electrical systems.
Take part in technical studies including preparation of documentation, ensuring that proposed solutions are technically robust
Gain experience with SPICE simulation modelling, EDA software and the manufacture and test of PCBs
