To grow our Engineer team in the UK, we are looking for a Graduate Engineer to join us. Working on a wide range of projects you'll co-create on some of the most prestigious infrastructures programmes in the UK. You'll also be supported by our engineers on your on-going professional development (Chartership) with a tailored plan to achieve your career aspirations.


Your key responsibilities will be:

Performing a wide variety of geotechnical engineering design activities in accordance with project requirements, including collating and understanding data, modelling and running analyses, preparing calculations and reports, and working with colleagues to deliver consistently high-quality project work Undertaking site-scale engineering geological mapping and modelling, writing desk study reports, ground investigation reports and geotechnical design reports, preparing ground investigation specifications, checking technical drawings Supporting and supervising ground investigations Checking design calculations and technical drawings done by other engineers Contributing to the dissemination of engineering good practice and implementation of our in-house tools such as the carbon calculation tool With the support of your project manager, planning and prioritising your workload, reporting back on progress against a project budget and programme Being responsible for delivering your own work to a high technical standard, ensuring accuracy through a diligent and careful approach to self-checking Attending site visits or client meetings

On top of that, you will:

Have a bachelor's or master's degree either in Civil/Structural/Geotechnical Engineering (BEng, BSc, Meng, MSc) Aspire to become a Chartered Engineer Ideally have some experience of working in an engineering environment (such as a year in industry or summer placements) Be able to demonstrate an understanding and enthusiasm for engineering geology or geotechnical engineering, and have a personal commitment to technical excellence Ability and willingness to work in a diverse and multi-disciplinary team Good communication skills and teamwork
