We have an opportunity for a graduate engineer to join our glass manufacturing plant based in Knottingley, West Yorkshire.

Working as part of a cross-functional team, this is a great opportunity to join a well-established team, working on technically challenging and varied projects, with on-going opportunities for development.

The role is working Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.

Company Description

Stoelzle Flaconnage is deemed Stoelzle's centre of excellence concerning development, production and decoration of Premium Spirits Bottles, with the capability to produce glass containers from 5cl up to 4.5l in extra white flint glass or feeder colouration. Due to the utmost flexibility, the site is able to also manufacture small batches for limited editions of luxury brands.

About You

You are a graduate in Manufacturing Engineering or a similar relevant engineering discipline. You will ideally have completed a relevant internship or work placement.

You have good knowledge of engineering principles with a degree qualified in Engineering. Knowledge of manufacturing processes is desirable.

You will have the ability to make decisions within defined procedures and come with strong interpersonal and general communication skills, both verbal and written.

Most important to us is that you want to work in a fast-paced and technically challenging environment and that you have a desire to learn and develop your expertise in product development and take ownership for work packages.

Qualifications

Degree qualified in Engineering Knowledge of manufacturing processes is desirable Ability to explain engineering issues to clients Ability to work on multiple projects at any one time A competent user of Microsoft Office packages, in particular Word, Outlook and Excel. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to demonstrate initiative and problem solving. Flexible and responsive, with a proactive, analytical outlook.
