Job Description

FLN Consulting Engineers are an established multi-discipline engineering consultancy with offices in the UK and Ireland. We work closely with clients, architects and other design orientated colleagues to deliver high quality structural design throughout the UK and Ireland. Due to expanding workload a vacancy exists in our structural division based in Glasgow for a graduate engineer / trainee structural engineer. The role includes ongoing training towards chartered status in the company training scheme which is specifically tailored to meet IStuctE key training objectives.

Working as a graduate engineer / trainee structural engineer your key responsibilities will include;

Assisting CAD technicians with the preparation of civil and structural AutoCAD drawings. Assist with the preparation of structural design calculations. Liaise with clients and engineering team members to execute and deliver projects. Attend project meetings and technical meetings.
Required qualifications and key skills;

Experience with Autocad is preferable but not essential Experience with Revit Structures is preferable but not essential. Excellent communication skills. A highly competitive salary is offered dependent on experience. The opportunity exists for Hybrid working. (working from the office / home).
