You're a fast-learner with a strong drive to succeed and a keen interest in launching your career in Finance. You've recently graduated and completed an industrial placement or have had financial related summer jobs. You want to get your career started. This job is administrative, but we have a good track record of growing our people in this team so we prefer to fill with a graduate (the previous person left for a bigger job). It would suit someone who wants to get a great Financial Services brand on their CV and learn from decent colleagues.


This varied role will give you a well-rounded introduction to a finance function within a growing Wealth Management and Financial Planning firm.




About the Role




You'll support our Finance team, gain hands on exposure to finance systems and processes, with a keen eye for detail in data and analysis.


You'll assist with our expense process and reconciliations, contributing to regular reporting cycles. This varied role will give you a well-rounded introduction to a finance function within a regulated firm.



Accountabilities



Become the go to person for all queries on using our Finance system NetSuite. Assist with payment processing and reconciliations. Contribute to cashflow and credit control reporting. Support banking portal maintenance and stakeholder queries.

Skills and Experience



Have completed an industrial placement, or worked your summers in an office based role. 1 year's experience working within a Finance or Accounting role or in a relevant industrial placement year. Intermediate Excel skills - v:lookups and pivot tables. Comfortable with technology - must be able to share document links, work from the cloud, use outlook effectively. Experience navigating or using finance/accounting systems - could be Xero, Sage, we use NetSuite Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable with numbers, tech savvy and highly organised with a keen eye for detail. Curious, engaged, and passionate about self-learning. Want to be part of a team that appreciates you.
