Graduate Formulation Scientist - Product Technology & Engineering

Are you ready to shape the future of agricultural innovation? Join Syngenta's dynamic Product Technology & Engineering department and contribute to developing groundbreaking formulation technologies and products that help feed a growing world.


As a Formulation Scientist, you'll provide critical support across our Crop Protection R&D and Production & Supply projects, leveraging diverse practical techniques to develop and commercialize innovative products. You'll:

Drive formulation design for new agricultural products Provide scientific insights and data-driven recommendations Contribute to our culture of scientific excellence

Key Accountabilities

Design and execute formulation workplans with guidance from experienced colleagues Deliver and validate experimental data independently Collaborate across functions to achieve project objectives Support patent filings through technical data generation Share technical expertise with peers Maintain safety standards while conducting laboratory work Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

MSc/BSc in Chemistry or equivalent experience in formulation Strong practical laboratory skills Curious and enthusiastic approach to science Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Scientific problem-solving mindset Meticulous data recording and interpretation skills

Desirable:

Experience in formulation design and testing Scripting or coding capabilities

Jealott's Hill International Research Centre UK is situated in pleasant semi-rural surroundings between Bracknell and Maidenhead and is the place of work for approximately 800 Syngenta scientists and support staff. Jealott's Hill is one of the main global research and development sites and key activities include research into discovery of new active ingredients, new formulation technologies, product safety and technical support of our product range.
