Product Development Scientist / Formulation Scientist

to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge feed additives.

As a

Senior Product Development Scientist

, you will have a key role in the design, development, and optimization of enzyme-based feed additives that meet product requirements and industry regulations. In addition, you will be supporting the manufacturing scale up from lab to pilot scale. You will work collaboratively with a cross-functional, transnational team to ensure successful product development from concept to commercialization.

Key Responsibilities:

To design and optimize complex matrix formulation for enzyme stability and bioavailability for applications in animal feed. To troubleshoot technical challenges, overseeing raw materials and packaging. To design and organize studies for the physical, chemical and microbiological characterisation of products. To conduct research on raw materials, stability, and compatibility to ensure product stability, efficacy and safety. To evaluate the stability and efficacy of products under various storage conditions To design and execute experiments, analyze data, and interpret results to improve product performance. To collaborate with R&D, regulatory, and manufacturing teams to support scale-up and commercialization. To work closely with Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) personnel to ensure product's adherence to regulatory and customers' requirements To maintain accurate documentation, reports, and technical records.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum Master's level in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Food Sciences, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Animal nutrition, or related field Minimum of 3 years of industrial experience in food and/or feed product development

Expected technical expertise in one or more areas

Extensive experience with powder processing technologies, including spray drying, granulation, milling and coating. Practical knowledge of raw materials, formulation techniques, analysis methods and stability studies Knowledge of feed processing technology in animal production systems Expertise in encapsulation technologies and controlled release systems Deep understanding of enzyme biochemistry, stability and activity optimization. Understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA, GMP, GLP) Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team Strong communication and documentation skills Comfortable with handling multiple tasks efficiently and prioritizing workload
