Ayesa is seeking a

Graduate Geotechnical Engineer

to join our growing Geotechnical team. You will contribute to a variety of design projects. Previous design commissions include various renewal schemes for railway earthwork assets, temporary works designs for flood defence schemes and detailed geotechnical design input for a major new conference centre building in Wales.

Key Responsibilities



Working as a member of a project team to deliver quality services to clients Ensures all geotechnical designs are in accordance with set standards and all recommendations are robust, value-based and commissionable Ensures that designs are delivered on time to our clients and that the design fulfils the client's brief Inspects construction work and ensures that all aspects of design are correctly implemented Monitors processes and results and ensure that they comply with relevant safety, legal, ethical and regulatory requirements Ability to make appropriate judgements and decisions and exercise initiative Assisting at tender stage of projects

? What You Bring



Experience & Qualifications:



Minimum of 1-years' design experience in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering with proven technical knowledge of geotechnics and relevant software. Detailed knowledge of Eurocodes and current engineering codes of practice Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work to deadlines and excellent planning and organisation skills Ability to work independently

Skills & Attributes:



A first degree (minimum 2.1) in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or similar Masters degree in geotechnical engineering or similar is preferred Minimum of 1 years' Geotechnical or Civil Engineering design experience Working towards Chartered Engineer status
