Graduate Geotechnical / Geo-environmental Engineer: Fantastic opening at a thriving, family-feel, SME Geo-Environmental Consultancy. This role is based in Milton Keynes.

Overview

Our client is a well-established Geoenvironmental and Geotechnical company providing a full range of services nationwide, including contaminated land assessment and remediation, ground and site investigation, and landfill monitoring and permitting.
They are looking for a graduate engineer to joining their busy, family-feel company who work primarily with small to medium house builders, quarry operators, and industrial/commercial businesses on high-end residential, canals, and earthwork projects amongst a variety of others.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and delivering ground investigations across diverse sites Supervising drilling rigs, trial pits, and sampling activities Logging soils and rocks, collecting environmental samples, and conducting in-situ testing Writing clear, insightful reports with support from senior engineers Liaising with clients, contractors, and regulators Contributing to process improvements and team development

Requirements

A degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or similar A full UK driving licence (essential) Curiosity, initiative, and a hands-on attitude Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn A desire to grow with a business and help shape its direction Ideally a minimum of 2 yrs in a similar position, although candidates with 6 months or more will also be considered.
