The successful Electronic Design Engineer will play a key role in developing the next generation of products.

The ideal candidate will be degree qualified or HND/HNC. You should have analogue circuit design capabilities where you will be able to design, develop, repair, assemble plus test on component level and have experience in electronic test equipment and measurement techniques.

You will play a key role in designing and developing Medical Electronic products from initial concept to final production. Support, design and repair, testing and calibration of existing products in service. You will be utilising your skills, to Design Digital & Analogue circuitry, using RF methods, PCB and Schematic Capture. A keen interest in applied life sciences, Biomedical engineering would be very beneficial

Required Skills

:

Electronic Design Engineer - Digital & Analogue

- Multi layer PCB Design

- Produce Bill of material (BOM)

- Design of Microprocessor controlled electronic circuitry

- Design communication interfaces and power supplies

- Design of instruments with intensive computational demands

- Testing & Fault Finding at board level

- Experience / Knowledge using Altium PCB layout software

- Schematic Capture

- Software C++

- Knowledge in programming

- Algorithm development, and real-time data analysis and display

- Microcontroller Programming

- Experience in digital image processing software development is also desirable.

- Matlab software development for 3D image reconstruction

- Software programming, development in Windows environment,

- Matlab including GUI design, databases, Visual Basic, C/C++, Java, crystal report, HTML, MS NET framework using C, C++.

Responsibilities will include:

The successful Electronic Design Engineer should be highly motivated, with excellent communication skills, time management and strong writing skills with the ability to work under pressure. Playing important role in designing and development process to ensure the availability of future products. Ensuring product design is suitable for manufacturing, service and ensure product quality and reliability. Managing product technical literature and design change requests. Supervise critical design to ensure robustness and compliance with regulatory requirements. Introducing cost reduction initiatives for the next-generation of products, improve quality and reliability.
