Graduate Perfumer Analyst

Are you a recent graduate in Chemistry (or a related field) with a passion for fragrance and an interest in building a career in perfumery? We are offering an exciting graduate training programme designed to develop the next generation of Perfumer Analysts. This is a unique opportunity to combine scientific training with creativity in the fragrance industry.

You will start by training in quality control where you will learn and apply GC (Gas Chromatography) analysis of fragrance, building your olfactory knowledge to give you an understanding of fragrance materials, compositions and quality. In parallel, you'll dedicate one day each week to an analytical perfumery research project focused on strengthening your GC-MS data interpretation.

As you progress into a perfumer analyst you will use GC analysis to recreate fragrance formulas into market products, working closely with a team of Evaluators, Perfumers and R&D chemists. During your training, you'll have the chance to spend time at our Barcelona site to broaden your exposure to analytical techniques, product categories, and meet our international team.

Due to the nature of this role, we are unable to support complete remote working so applicants must be willing to relocate to the South Coast of England where our UK operation is based.

The skills required for this opportunity are:

A recent graduate in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. A genuine passion for perfumery, fragrance, and olfaction. Curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn both the science and art of perfumery.
