Our

Geomatics

team is transforming how we understand and interact with the built environment. Utilizing state-of-the-art technology, our experts capture spatial data with unparalleled accuracy, achieving precision down to 0.2%. Our meticulously measured surveys and detailed reports adhere to the RICS Property Measurement Standard and serve as the foundation for architectural design and the creation of comprehensive Building Information Models (BIM).


This two-year program is designed for graduates eager to specialize as Land/Measured Building Surveyors. You'll gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of spatial data capture techniques, utilizing the very latest in Land Surveying technology. You'll become an integral part of our Geomatics team, with opportunities to gain experience across various market sectors.


We are committed to your professional growth. Throughout the program, we will provide comprehensive support to help you achieve your Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and attain membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).


As a Graduate Geomatics Surveyor, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including but not limited to:

Conducting surveys on-site using various tools, including, total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, laser scanners and drones. Data Processing: Importing, cleaning, and processing raw data collected in the field. Using specialized software (e.g., AutoCAD) to analyse and manipulate the data. Report generation and analysis to identify issues, calculate areas, volumes, and other relevant measurements. Creating drawings and models: producing detailed plans, sections, elevations, and 3D models of buildings and sites.

Qualifications

Academic Credentials: Ideally you will be studying an RICS accredited degree (achieved or on track for a 2:1 minimum) in a Geospatial Surveying, Mapping or GIS related degree. Non-Cognate students from a Geography degree discipline are also welcome to apply (achieved or on track for a 2:1 minimum) Technical Acumen: An understanding of the technical aspects of building surveying, coupled with a genuine interest in the real estate and built environment.

Other Requirements



In some regional roles, the ability to drive may be necessary due to the location of client offices.


To be considered for roles in the Defence arena, you will need to pass both a Baseline Personnel Security Standard check and UKSV SC clearance. This process will begin once you've accepted an offer and confirmed your willingness to undergo the checks.
