to join our close-knit team in Wakefield.

The Role



As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor at BCP, you will work directly alongside our Senior Quantity Surveyors and business owners, receiving mentorship and guidance as you learn and contribute to all aspects of the QS function. You will begin by supporting the commercial management of one large-scale new build project (typically 10-15m), with responsibilities gradually increasing as you develop.

You will be a key part of our team, working in an environment where collaboration and respect drive every decision.

Assist in the commercial management of high-value new build care home projects. Support cost control, cashflow, valuations, and forecasting. Learn how to appoint and manage subcontractors for commercial performance. Work closely with site teams, suppliers, and clients to deliver project excellence. Based in Wakefield, with site visits nationwide once or twice a month (travel expenses covered). 40-hour week office-based in Wakefield.

Who We're Looking For



A recent or soon-to-be Graduate with a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction/commercial discipline. Motivated, driven, and eager to develop in a Quantity Surveying role in a supportive environment. A strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative, hands-on environment, willing to provide support across all departments when required to learn the business. Looking for an autonomous role where you can earn trust and have long-term progression. Based within commuting distance of Wakefield.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
