The Opportunity

Our Rail Systems Engineering team supports projects throughout the project lifecycle, starting with customer requirements, working through the design, installation and testing phases, and ending with successful operation. We also provide specialist Systems Engineering services such as System Modelling, and Safety & Reliability Analysis.

As one of the world\'s leading building and infrastructure design consultancies, we offer clients the innovation and technical know-how to continually deliver their projects on schedule and on budget, but without compromise.

Working alongside other team members and experts you will deliver an effective and professional service to our clients. As you develop you will have opportunities to work on a wide range of projects varying in location, size and complexity. Our expectation is that you will gain the responsibilities and experience needed to achieve Chartership within 4-5 years.

Our Rail Systems Engineers develop integrated solutions to meet the needs of government, rail operators, the travelling public and others impacted by the railway. Based in the UK our Rail Systems Engineering team work on an exciting mixture of national projects such as the Transpennine Route Upgrade between Manchester and York and international projects such as Toronto\'s GO Transit modernisation programme.

Right now, we\'re looking for Graduates to join our team of bright professionals in our London Office.

We\'re looking for the following qualifications, attributes, and skills:

  • Minimum BEng in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunications or Systems Engineering.
  • A \xe2\x80\x9csystems thinking\xe2\x80\x9d and innovative mindset.
  • A strong desire to learn.
  • Enthusiasm for a career in Rail underpinned by a knowledge and understanding of our sector and work.
  • Some experience in developing software applications, databases, websites, data analytics preferred.
