We are now seeking a Graduate Reliability Engineer to join the team at our site in Filton. At our GKN Filton site, we specialise in the design and manufacture of large complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic components and wing systems for a combination of both civil and military aircraft
The successful candidate will work on maintenance, planning and analysis of maintenance data to drive machine uptime improvement across site.
This role offers flexible working, as well as a 4.5 day working week with an early finish on Friday.
The role is initially on a 24 month contract, however there is potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.
How You'll Contribute
-------------------------
Continually reviewing equipment data to identify opportunities to improve the technical strategy
Performing Root Cause Analysis
Participation in capital projects to ensure that reliability and availability are specifically addressed this can be on a weekly, monthly & yearly basis on different projects
Leading partnerships with Engineering, Maintenance and Manufacturing to facilitate cross-functional problem-solving
Monitoring of failures to identify root causes and implementing appropriate actions
Organisation and indirect leadership of Criticality Assessment and Risk Based Maintenance analysis (FMECA/RCM/REM) teams
Identification of design-out opportunities and action to evaluate these and implement cost-justifiable actions
Initiation and implementation of changes to PMs when appropriate
Provision of training as needs are identified, including Root Cause Failure Analysis training for maintenance technicians and others as required

Essential:
Degree in Mechatronic/Electrical/Electronic Engineering
A strong team player with the ability to communicate at all levels
Strong analytical capabilities, ability to transfer data into excel & communicate to all levels.
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to problem solve in a changing environment
Desirable:
Experience within an aerospace production environment
