Graduate Teaching Assistant - Drama, Psychology or Sport Graduates

Your Role:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons and activities.
  • Use your specialist knowledge to help students develop confidence, communication, and social skills.
  • Assist with creative workshops, physical activities, or therapeutic exercises tailored to individual needs.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEND.
  • Help coordinate school events, clubs, or performances depending on your area of expertise.
We're Looking For:
  • A recent graduate in Drama, Psychology, Sport Science, or a related field.
  • A genuine interest in education and supporting students with additional needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, patient, and flexible approach to learning support.
  • Experience in performance, coaching, mentoring, or therapeutic settings is a bonus.

Requirements:
  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an SEN setting.

  • A valid DBS check on the update service.
  • Familiarity with communication tools like PECS, Makaton, or other AAC methods is a plus (training can be provided).
