About the Role:



The Trainee Accountant will provide essential support across a range of accounting services, including audit engagements, tax returns, and management accounts. This role involves assisting senior colleagues in delivering high-quality services to clients while developing core accounting skills. The Trainee Accountant will contribute to the firm's success by ensuring that all tasks are performed with technical competence and in line with Xeinadin's high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:



As a Trainee Accountant your responsibilities will include:

Assist in the preparation of limited company and sole trader accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Manage business and self-assessment tax filings for clients, ensuring timely completion and adherence to regulations. Contribute to the preparation of corporation tax returns, VAT returns, and management accounts. Attend client premises when required to gather necessary information or perform site-specific tasks. Liaise with clients to collect relevant information for accounting and audit work. Communicate with clients in a professional manner, delivering excellent customer service. Represent the firm in a professional manner through conduct, appearance, and attitude, both internally and externally. Contribute to a team environment that fosters collaboration and supports each other in achieving client and business goals. Participate in team activities that improve business and client service standards. Uphold and promote Xeinadin's mission, values, and strategic goals in all aspects of work. Ensure that all assigned tasks contribute to the firm's growth and service excellence.

Key Requirements:



Entry-level role, ideally working towards AAT/ACA/ACCA A strong desire to pursue further qualifications and become a qualified Accountant.

Additional Requirements:



Comfort and liking of numbers Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks. Demonstrates a professional attitude in all aspects of the role, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
