Job Description

As a Trainee Chartered Accountant, you will work towards achieving your Chartered Accountancy Qualification with Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI) while gaining invaluable, hands-on experience in the workplace. Your tuition fees will be paid and you will balance your professional studies with practical responsibilities, applying what you learn in real time as you contribute to a variety of finance projects and functions. This blend of structured learning and day-to-day work will equip you with the technical expertise, commercial awareness, and professional skills needed for a successful career in accountancy.
About the person:
Applicants must possess, by the closing date for applications:

  • An Honours degree (minimum 2.2) or equivalent qualification, in any discipline.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programmes including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Right to work in UK for the duration of the contract.
  • Commitment to complete a 3.5-year training contract.
  • Commitment to undertake personal study for Chartered Accountancy qualification in line with Chartered Accountants Ireland requirements, making reasonable efforts to complete the qualification within the contract period.
  • Ability to commence employment on 6th October 2025.

Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
