About the Role

We are offering an excellent opportunity for a

recent finance, accounting, or business graduate

to begin their career in legal finance. This

Graduate Legal Cashier

role is designed as a training position, providing full support and structured development to build your knowledge of legal accounting and the Solicitors Accounts Rules.

You will work closely with the Finance Manager and wider finance team, learning the day-to-day financial operations of a busy law firm. The role is ideal for someone analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to develop a professional career in finance within the legal sector.

Key Responsibilities (with full training provided)

Assist with

processing client and office account transactions

Help manage

incoming and outgoing payments

Support in

logging invoices and disbursements

Learn how to

prepare and send client bills and credit notes

Support in

reconciling bank transactions and maintaining financial records

Assist with

client account interest calculations

Help with

month-end and year-end procedures

Produce and maintain

basic financial and time reports

Communicate with suppliers to

obtain and verify statements of account

Support the team in ensuring compliance with the

Solicitors Accounts Rules

Who We're Looking For

A recent

graduate in Finance, Accounting, or Business

(or equivalent field)

A strong

numerical and analytical mindset

Excellent

attention to detail

and accuracy

Strong communication skills

Confident using

Microsoft Excel and financial data
