Integrated Transport Planning (ITP) is our UK-based group of transport planners and engineers. We work with clients who are focused on accelerating the ongoing sustainable mobility and energy transitions that are central to reducing and mitigating the most harmful impacts of climate change. This is an exciting position where you will join our established team in the UK and join our Graduate Training Scheme to gather all the skills required to be successful at Haskoning. We will provide you with the opportunity to gain experience across our different transport planning sectors, working alongside some of the world's leading experts in their field. This on-the-job learning is matched with a comprehensive internal and external training programme, overseen by a dedicated mentor to help ensure you career will flourish. The job will entail working on a range of projects for both public and private sector clients in the UK and internationally and will involve:


Independently undertaking complex research and analysis tasks Writing clear, well thought out report contributions Liaising effectively with clients in the course of projects Identifying opportunities for follow-up work from existing projects Preparing expressions of interest and proposals for new work Assisting with the development of marketing materials as required

The role might be right for you if you have:

An undergraduate honours degree in a related subject (geography, civil engineering, town planning, environmental science or economics)

or

a master's degree in transport planning

or

up to one year's post graduate experience in transport planning Excellent communication skills Experience of working in a team environment Strong research and analytical skills Excellent report-writing skills An understanding that transport planners have a responsibility to help create more sustainable environments.
