Harvest Grain Plant Assistant - Night Shift

Highland Grain is looking for a Night Shift Grain Plant Assistant for harvest, at its grain drying and storage facility at Tore.

The position will require the successful applicant to operate machinery and to assist with maintenance of the plant. Some experience of working and operating systems at an industrial site would be desirable, but training will be provided.

Key activities will include running a process at harvest time during the night, along with maintaining and updating records on an ongoing basis.

The successful applicant will be keen to learn and improve on existing engineering skills and will have some previous systems experience. It will be necessary to work as part of a team but there will also be opportunities for the right applicant to use their initiative. The applicant will be expected to work at heights.

This role is a seven-day a week role, for a period of several weeks.

This is an opportunity for the right applicant to gain a lot of fundamental engineering, electrical, workshop and process experience.

Mon-Sun, 8pm to 8am, paid weekly.
