Job Summary

We are looking for a highly creative and skilled Graphic and Multimedia Designer to elevate the visual identity of Josh and Nicol across all platforms. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing compelling graphic and multimedia content that resonates with our target audience, enhances brand recognition, and drives engagement. This role requires a keen eye for aesthetics, a deep understanding of current fashion trends, and pro?ciency in both static and dynamic visual storytelling. You will work closely with our marketing, e-commerce, and design teams to produce visually stunning campaigns, digital assets, and interactive experiences that re?ect the essence of the Josh and Nicol brand.

Key Responsibilities

As a Graphic and Multimedia Designer at Josh and Nicol, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Visual Content Creation

: Design and produce high-quality graphic assets for various digital channels, including social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest), email marketing campaigns, website banners, and online advertisements. This includes creating captivating imagery, typography, and layouts that align with the brand's aesthetic.

Multimedia Development:

Conceptualize, storyboard, and create engaging multimedia content such as short promotional videos, animated graphics, GIFs, and interactive elements for our website and digital campaigns. This involves pro?ciency in video editing, motion graphics, and sound design to bring our fashion stories to life.

Brand Consistency:

Ensure strict adherence to Josh and Nicol's brand guidelines across all visual and multimedia outputs. Maintain a consistent brand voice, style, and visual identity to strengthen brand recognition and recall.

Campaign Support:

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visual concepts for seasonal collections, product launches, and promotional campaigns. Translate marketing objectives into visually appealing and e?ective design solutions.

E-commerce Visuals:

Work with the e-commerce team to create compelling product visuals, lifestyle imagery, and interactive elements that enhance the online shopping experience and showcase our products effectively.

Trend Research:

Stay abreast of the latest graphic design, multimedia, and fashion industry trends. Proactively suggest innovative visual approaches and technologies to keep Josh and Nicol at the forefront of digital fashion communication.

Asset Management:

Organise and maintain a comprehensive library of digital assets, ensuring easy accessibility and proper version control for all creative materials.

Collaboration and Feedback:

Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and provide constructive feedback. Be open to receiving feedback and iterating on designs to achieve optimal results.

Required Skills and Quali?cations

Proven experience 5 years as a Graphic Designer, Multimedia Designer, or similar role, preferably within the fashion, retail, or luxury goods industry. A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional graphic design skills, multimedia projects (video, animation), and a keen understanding of visual storytelling. Pro?ciency in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After E?ects). Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout. Experience with digital marketing platforms and an understanding of best practices for creating content for social media, email, and web. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline- driven environment. Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills. A passion for fashion and a strong awareness of current and emerging fashion trends.

Preferred Skills

Experience with 3D rendering software (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D) is a plus. Knowledge of UI/UX principles for web and mobile applications.
