SGS Engineering is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
Graphic Design Assistant
to join our expanding e-commerce team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious creative to play a key role in a business undergoing significant digital transformation.
Reporting to the Graphic Designer & E-commerce Manager, you will be responsible for managing the creative output for our digital communications and supporting the wider design team in delivering high-quality visual content across all channels.
Your Key Responsibilities
Email Design & Build:
Design engaging email templates for tactical campaigns and automated customer journeys.
Digital Content:
Create sitewide banners, optimise product imagery, and develop
A+ content
to enhance the e-commerce shopping experience.
Brand Maintenance:
Ensure brand consistency across logos, colour palettes, and typography for all digital and physical assets.
Photography Support:
Work alongside the photography team to edit, retouch, and upload product imagery for the website and marketing comms.
Print & Marketing:
Update product manuals, flyers, and technical graphics, as well as creating seasonal posters for the showroom banner boards.
Creative Roadmapping:
Assist in developing visual roadmaps for seasonal brand campaigns throughout the year.
Who Are We Looking For?
The ideal candidate is a creative "all-rounder" who can balance artistic flair with technical execution. You should be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
Requirements:
Software Skills:
Excellent knowledge of
Adobe Creative Suite
(Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and
Canva
.
E-commerce Experience:
Experience creating and optimising email templates and web assets.
Attention to Detail:
Precision in layout, typography, and technical graphics (like product manuals).
Communication:
Ability to work collaboratively, share knowledge, and take feedback from stakeholders.
Methodical Approach:
Ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet strict deadlines.
Education:
Ideally a degree in Graphic Design (or a related field) and a strong portfolio are preferred.
