Magnum is an e-commerce brand in the tattoo supplies industry. We're in an exciting growth phase and looking for a talented designer to join our close-knit team in Runcorn, Cheshire. We're more than just a supply company, our goal is to empower artists to create work their clients love by providing the tools, education, and inspiration they need to be their best.

The role



We are looking for a creative, detailed-driven designer who also has strong photography and editing skills. You will be mainly working across digital, shaping how our brand is seen online and in the real world. You will be involved in designing assets for the website, email newsletters, social media and marketing campaigns, whilst also getting stuck into packaging design and any print assets too. You will be working alongside our Head of Brand and Customer Experience and Marketing team to produce designs that match our vision.

Key responsibilities

Digital Design:

Create website banners, hero images, and campaign graphics. Develop social media templates for Instagram and TikTok and stay updated with design trends.

GIF & Motion Assets:

Create simple GIFs and animations to bring campaigns, email newsletters and website content to life.

Print Design:

Develop packaging, marketing materials, and other print assets.

Photography & Art Direction:

Style, shoot, and edit product photography, ensuring images reflect our brand guidelines.

Brand Guardianship:

Uphold, champion and help to evolve our brand guidelines across all channels, keeping us consistent and cohesive.

Creative Ideation:

Contribute fresh ideas for campaigns, visuals, and how we present our products.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work with marketing, socials, and product to deliver design and photography that drive results.

Skills required



Gained some commercial experience within Digital Design for this entry level role. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Canva and Illustrator (essential). Basic video editing skills, with a strong desire to develop skills (nice to have) Strong photo editing skills & manipulation Ability to create simple GIF animations Strong photography skills, including styling, shooting, and photo manipulation/editing Creative thinker - likes to think outside of the box, whilst also understanding our target audience and personas Experience working with brand guidelines in a corporate or professional environment Meticulous attention to detail (obsessed over being pixel perfect!)
