Graphic Designer / Production Assistant

About Us

We are a dynamic distillery based in in Liphook, Hampshire, dedicated to crafting

premium spirits with a focus on quality and innovation. Our in-house brands are

known for their distinctive branding and gift packaging, and we're looking for a

talented and creative individual to join our team as a graphic designer and production

assistant.

The Role

We are seeking a Design graduate to take on a multifaceted role at our distillery,

combining creative design with hands-on production support. This position is

ideal for a self-motivated individual with a BA degree in Graphic Design (or equivalent)

who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working independently, and excels

at meeting tight deadlines. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal

stakeholders, external clients, and customers, ensuring clear communication and

high-quality outputs. The role is 40 hours a week on site

Key Responsibilities

Design Work:

Create compelling brand identities, packaging, and digital assets for our in-house

brands, including label designs, gift packaging, point-of-sale materials, and

promotional content.

Create secondary packaging for our customers working within their existing brand

guidelines.

Create day to day Functional graphic assets for the distillery.

Develop and maintain visually engaging assets for our websites and social media

accounts, ensuring regular updates with relevant content.

Production Support:

Assist the production team with tasks such as research, new product development,

product photography, and printing design artwork using our in-house Oki printer.

Project Management:

Manage your own time and schedules to deliver projects on time and to a high

standard.

Work in collaboration with our customer's design teams, and our web developers.

Work collaboratively with the distillery team, stepping in to support colleagues during

busy periods.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

A BA degree (or equivalent) in Graphic Design or a related field.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging with company stakeholders,

clients, and customers.

Ability to work independently, follow a brief, and meet tight deadlines.

A team player with a proactive, hands-on attitude.

Desirable Skills

Experience of working in a design role, preferably with solid knowledge of packaging

design and familiarity of print design conventions.

Familiarity with Canva, WordPress, Shopify and AI image generation tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
