Inflatable World is an established manufacturer of inflatables and bouncy castles based in Nottingham, with a reputation of high quality products. We're looking for a Junior CAD Designer/Production Assistant to join our team based in our factory in Bingham.

Experience of Inflatables not essential but must be IT literate and ideally familiar with design software. Role requires creation of one-off designs from concept to manufacture, regular client liaison and materials sourcing in addition to working on our standard designs. Job Duties:

Creating designs through 3D modelling software and producing detailed 2D drawings.

Working to agreed project timescales.

Liaising with and producing 3D renders for customers.

Helping with CNC programming and supervising cutting machine.

Assisting with inflatable testing and completion of test paperwork.

Supervising liquid lamination machine.

Occasional travel in the UK to liaise with customers when required and represent the company during off site technical activities.

Role is approximately 40% design, 40% production (cutting/laminating) and 20% inflatable testing/other activities.

Knowledge & Skills:

Working knowledge of Rhino 3D is preferable but training will be given to the right candidate.

Working knowledge of Alphacam or other CAD software is preferable but again training will be given to the right candidate.

Good IT skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Good levels of written and verbal communication.

Full UK driving license

Advantageous Skills:

Knowledge of AlphaCam (preferred but not essential as training will be given)

Knowledge of Rhino 3D (preferred but not essential as training will be given)

Graphic design capabilities - some experience of computer aided design is preferred.

Hands on mechanical and technical skills with an understanding of mechanical engineering and fabrication processes would be beneficial.

Must have a high attention to detail, with good analytical and problem-solving skills, highly organised and able to manage their own time/workload efficiently.

Self-motivated individual who is able to occasionally travel in the UK and be competent away from the office either as an individual representing the company or as part of a team.

Eagerness to learn and contribute to the team.

Willing to go above and beyond, with a vision to get the job done right; first time.

Pay: 10.00-13.00 per hour
