APAC Group are a fast-growing group of companies with diverse interests across importing, wholesale and retail.

We are a large importer supplying product to wholesalers, garden centres and supermarkets. Our products are represented in all supermarkets in the UK and many large retailers.

We also trade out of 20 cash and carries (Whittingtons and Country Baskets), one garden centre (Rowena), an online retail business (UK Shopping Mall) and a have a European office and distribution centre. Our head office is based in Rothley, Leicester.

We are looking for a versatile and creative Graphic & Product Designer to join our expanding Design Team. This is a unique role combining graphic design, product development, and packaging design within the horticulture and gifting sectors. If you enjoy working across both creative visuals and technical artwork, this role offers the perfect mix.

About the Role

You will support the development of new horticultural products--including flower sleeves, plant packaging, ceramics, and decorative accessories--while also delivering high-quality catalogues, marketing collateral, and promotional materials. This is a hands-on creative role where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

Design horticultural products such as flower and plant packaging, flower sleeves, ceramics, and decorative product ranges. Produce graphic design work including catalogues, leaflets, POS, in-store displays, digital assets, and marketing material. Create accurate packaging artwork, cutter guides, print-ready files, and board specifications. Work with pattern-cutting layouts and understand material types, print finishes, and construction methods. Support the development of seasonal and core product ranges, contributing creative ideas and trend insight. Prepare prototypes, mock-ups, and artwork proofs for internal review and supplier approval. Ensure consistency across brand visuals, packaging, and marketing content. Work collaboratively with Buying, Marketing, and the wider Design Team to deliver projects on time.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

Strong Graphic Design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Experience producing catalogues, brochures, leaflets, and marketing material. Understanding of printing processes, board types, pattern cutting, and cutter guides. Ability to take projects from concept through to final artwork and production. High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Ability to work on multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Beneficial (but not essential):

Background in packaging design, horticultural packaging, product development, fashion/textiles, or surface pattern design. Knowledge of print finishes, substrates, and packaging construction. Experience with photography, styling, or visual merchandising.
