Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic & Website Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling and a strong understanding of design principles. This role requires a combination of artistic flair and technical skills to create engaging digital content that resonates with our audience. You will be responsible for developing innovative designs and websites for various businesses that enhance our brand identity across various platforms.

Duties

Create visually appealing graphics for websites, social media, and marketing materials. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver design solutions that meet objectives. Develop responsive web designs that ensure optimal user experience across devices. Maintain and update existing websites, ensuring all content is current and visually engaging. Utilise platforms such as WORDPRESS to develop websites and SEO. Implement information architecture principles to enhance usability and navigation of digital products. Stay up-to-date with industry trends in graphic design, UX, and digital design to continually improve skills and output.

Experience

Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Familiarity with web technologies including PHP, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles. Strong understanding of UX principles and best practices in digital design. Experience in website maintenance and the ability to troubleshoot basic issues. A portfolio showcasing previous work in graphic design, web design, or related fields is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Types: Fixed term contract, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract

Pay: 22,880.00-23,000.00 per year
