As the Grass Hoppers Supervisor at our Tingley site, you'll take the reins of a buzzing catering outlet, ensuring our guests enjoy top-notch service and delicious food in a welcoming, clean, and safe environment.


From managing the day-to-day operations to developing a motivated team and driving sales, you'll bring your energy, leadership, and passion for people to make every customer visit a memorable one. Plus, you'll step up to cover the Manager in their absence, making you a vital part of the leadership team.


This is a

part-time role

, working on average 26.375 hours per week during our peak season (school holidays) and 24.25 hours per week off-peak, including

alternate weekends

.

What you'll be doing:

? Overseeing the smooth daily running of our busy catering operation


? Training, developing, and inspiring your team to deliver first-class service


? Maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation


? Keeping on top of stock, placing orders, and reducing waste


? Handling rotas, timesheets, and holiday requests to keep everything running seamlessly


? Monitoring visitor areas to ensure they stay sparkling clean and welcoming


? Leading by example to handle any customer concerns in line with our Values


? Motivating the team to smash weekly sales targets


? Conducting performance reviews and supporting growth and development


? Covering the Manager's duties during their absence to ensure continuity


? Securing and closing down the site to keep everyone safe


? Building positive relationships with colleagues across the business
