Job Description
Empire Landscapes Ltd are looking to recruit due to the expansion of the Golf Team, Greenkeepers to assist with in the day-to-day set up and maintenance of the course, all the related practice facilities and planted areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with a keen interest in golf and greenkeeping. Empire Landscapes Ltd is at the early stages of implementing a significant 5-year course improvement plan so it's a great time to join the team there. Members of the current team are fully qualified in greenkeeping therefore a great group to learn from.
The role is varied and duties would include:
Mowing all areas ready for play
Seeding and over seeding playing surfaces
Renovating and maintaining bunkers
Maintaining practice area
Servicing machinery and general maintenance work
The ideal candidate would be local to the area, keen to learn, hardworking, reliable and have some interest or experience in greenkeeping. Being a golfer would be advantageous although not essential.
You will work 40 hours per week between Monday to Friday and will be on a rota to work no more than two weekends a month. Working hours may vary depending on the season but this will be discussed at interview.
Uniform provided.
Minimum Qualification- NVQ Level 2 in sports turf and green keeping.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 27,500.00-29,000.00 per year
