Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Greenkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our grounds. This position requires a passion for landscape maintenance and a commitment to ensuring that our outdoor spaces are well-kept and inviting.

Duties

Perform general groundskeeping tasks, including digging, maintaining, and irrigating various areas of the landscape. Drive and operate all Green Keeping Machines. Presenting the Golf Course to the highest possible standards all year round. Utilise both power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping projects. Conduct regular inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing attention or improvement. Build and maintain garden beds, ensuring that plants are healthy and thriving. Implement irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution across the landscape. Collaborate with team members to execute landscaping plans and projects efficiently. Maintain equipment in good working order, demonstrating mechanical knowledge for repairs when necessary. Uphold safety standards while performing all tasks to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not essential. Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to gardening and landscaping tasks. Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is advantageous. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics in landscape design. A willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques in gardening and landscape management.

Pay: 28,114.00-32,000.00 per year
