EV charging and electrical infrastructure projects

across the UK -- from LV networks through to 11 kV connections.

We are seeking an experienced

Grid Connections Manager

to lead and manage all ICP operations across the business. This is a senior role responsible for ensuring

technical compliance, quality, and programme delivery

from design approval through to energisation.

The Role

The ICP Manager will oversee Gigawatt's entire ICP process -- managing

DNO/IDNO liaison

,

technical submissions

,

compliance documentation

, and coordination with internal delivery teams. You'll ensure every project meets

DNO/IDNO adoption standards

, while managing external design partners and leading the

ICP Administration Team

.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all DNO/IDNO applications, design approvals, and technical queries up to 11 kV. Oversee external design subcontractors producing D&O submissions and revisions. Coordinate compliance documentation, adoption packs, test records, and as-builts. Work closely with Gigawatt's internal civils and electrical teams to align delivery with approved designs. Manage and develop the

ICP Administration Team

to maintain design trackers and documentation. Conduct site visits or audits where required to confirm quality and readiness for adoption. Support Project Managers and the Commercial team with programme forecasting, risk management, and ICP reporting.

About You

Proven experience managing

ICP or DNO connection projects

from design through to adoption (HV/LV - 11 kV). Strong understanding of

ENA G81

, DNO/IDNO standards, and compliance processes. Confident managing

external design partners

and

multi-disciplinary internal teams

. Organised, commercially aware, and technically proficient. Excellent communicator with clients, engineers, and senior management. Electrical engineering background or equivalent industry experience preferred. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.

65,000 - 70,000 per annum
