The role requires the following experience:
- Help maintain an exceptional standard of hygiene
- Assisting with the cooking for tastings, product development
- Support the production and development team
- Advanced knife handling, stater, and fry experience.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Responsibilities:
- 5+ years as a Grill Chef in a high-volume Restaurant.
- Must be passionate, creative, and create a new recipe.
- Be a self-starter who can work with personal drive and autonomy
- Experience with managing large teams is a must and multi-site
- The ability to communicate with colleagues and clients with clarity and confidence
- Understand all company policies, procedures, standards, specifications, and guidelines.
- Must arrive on time, in uniform, and ready to work for each shift.
- Process for prepared foods, clean containers, labeled with date prepared and in proper rotation.
- Restock, organize, and maintain the back up of all ingredients, ensure products will not run out.
- Willingness to learn how to prepare menu items.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
- Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
- Must be able to handle high-volume of production during lunch and dinner rushes.
- Has a positive attitude and works well with others. Teamwork and cooperation are a must.
- Completes all opening and closing duties for assigned workstation.
- Communicates with management product shortages or broken equipment.
- Take on any additional duties or special projects as requested by management
