We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of grilled dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties

Prepare and cook grilled dishes according to recipes and quality standards Ensure all food is cooked safely, maintaining food safety protocols at all times Assist in meal preparation, including marinating, seasoning, and assembling ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill station and surrounding areas Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results Serve food promptly and professionally to customers or front-of-house staff Follow health and safety regulations to uphold hygiene standards within the kitchen Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment Expertise in Steak Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Excellent skills in meal preparation and grilling techniques Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Good organisational skills with attention to detail Previous experience in a kitchen environment or culinary training is advantageous Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills Serving experience is beneficial but not essential; willingness to learn is important
