Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality grilled dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a passion for food, excellent kitchen skills, and a commitment to food safety standards. The successful applicant will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests through precise meal preparation and efficient service.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes according to recipes and customer specifications Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill station and surrounding work areas Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction Adhere to health and safety procedures to prevent accidents or contamination during food handling

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles, preferably within a restaurant setting Knowledge of culinary techniques, especially grilling methods Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation Previous experience in serving or interacting with customers is advantageous but not essential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
