Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties

Prepare and cook grilled dishes according to recipes and customer specifications Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill station and surrounding areas Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards diligently Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or front-of-house staff Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies are low Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation and quality control Previous experience with culinary techniques specific to grilling is preferred Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week

Work Location: In person
